Research: Title Analysis of High School & Youth Drama

Teen Drama's are usually divided into two categories.

- Youth Drama

• usually focuses on the dilemma's faced by the main, often male character.
• youth as difficult or problem
• the character is often rebellious and\or in conflict with others. 

- High School

• become very popular in the 1970s , 80 and 90s, with lots of variations within the sub-genre
• often  'girl centred' but might focus on a male lead
• they often, but not always celebrate the idea of being youth or youth as fun.  

Fish Tank Credits 

Fish Tank is an urban teen film. It has very few credits. This may be because it is a low budget film.
